Successful Students
5-6
5. Don’t sit in the back of the room. Success
students minimize classroom distractions that interfere with learning.
Students want the best seat available for
their entertainment. The students that sit in the back are not the teachers
teammate. Why do they expose themselves to the temptations of inactive class experiences
and distractions with all the people around them and their instructor? Of
course, we know why they choose the back of the classroom because they seek
nobody. Push your hot button to something else.
6. … take good notes successful students take
notes that are understandable and organized, and review them often.
Why put something in your notes that you don’t
understand? Ask the question know that
is necessary to make your notes meaningful. Make your notes fresh while your
time is still good. The more you learn then the more you less learn later. The
whole purpose of taking notes is to use them, and use them often. The more you
use them the more you improve.
